•Removeormarkobstaclessuchasrocks,tree

limbs,etc.fromthemowingarea.Tallgrasscan

hideobstacles.

•Watchforditches,holes,rocks,dipsandrisesthat

changetheoperatingangle,asroughterraincould

overturnthemachine.

•Avoidsuddenstopswhenmowingdownhill

becausethemowermaytipforwards.

•Beawarethatlossoftractionmayoccurgoing

uphill.Weighttransfertotherearwheelsmay

causedrivewheelstoslipandcauselossof

brakingandsteering.

•Alwaysavoidsuddenstartingorstoppingona

slope.Iftireslosetraction,disengagetheblades

andproceedslowlyofftheslope.

•Followthemanufacturer’srecommendationsfor

wheelweightsorcounterweightstoimprove

stability.

•Useextremecarewithgrasscatchersor

attachments.Thesecanchangethestabilityofthe

machineandcauselossofcontrol.

(ROPS)

ontheunit.
