Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch,

engageparkingbrake,andpullthewire(s)

offthesparkplug(s)beforeyoudoany

maintenance.Alsopushthewire(s)aside

soitdoesnotaccidentallycontactthespark

plug(s).

orcorrecttheproblembeforeoperating.

1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and

removekey.Engageparkingbrake.

2.Visuallyinspectthatthedischargegateclosesat

againstthedischargeopening.Ifnot,reshape

thedischargegatesoitclosesproperlyand

completely.

Adjustments

Note:DisengagePTO,shutoffengine,waitfor

allmovingpartstostop,engageparkingbrake,and

removekeybeforeservicing,cleaning,ormakingany

adjustmentstotheunit.

HandleAdjustment

Thehandleallowsthegatetobeheldinanyposition.

Adjustthetensionofthepivotboltandnutasshown

inFigure22formoreorlessresistance.
